# GLP-1 Price Changes Between Two Readings of the Same Sellers

Published prices from dozens of GLP-1 sellers were read a second time. Most figures had moved, most of them downward, and the typical change was not small.

Every price list on the internet is a photograph. This one included. The interesting question is how fast the thing being photographed moves, and that can only be answered by going back and looking again — which this desk did, on 219 sellers, covering 217 separate price rows. It is the one measurement a reader cannot take for themselves without doing the same work twice, and it changes how much weight any figure on [a comparison page](https://thisglp.com/best) deserves.

## Most of them fell

Of the 217 rows re-read, 155 had gone down and 62 had gone up. The median move was \-13.4%, so the typical change was not a rounding adjustment — it was a meaningful cut. The extremes ran from \-79% at one end to 131% at the other, which means a single seller’s figure both halved and doubled somewhere in this set.

A market where most published prices fall between two readings is a market under competitive pressure. That is good news for a buyer and bad news for a price list, because it means the list is wrong in a predictable direction: too high, more often than not.

## What this is not

These are not a random sample. A seller gets re-read when something prompts it — a figure that looked stale, a page that changed, a review being written. So this describes the rows this desk went back to, not the market as a whole, and the true rate of change across all 580 rostered sellers is unknown.

It also says nothing about which direction any particular seller will move next. A price that fell \-79% between two readings is not on a trend; it is a business making a decision, and the next decision is not predictable from the last.

## What to do with it

The practical rule is short. Confirm the figure on the seller’s own page on the day you order, not from any list — including this one. A quote more than a few weeks old is more likely wrong than right, and the direction of the error usually favors you.

The second rule follows from what a changed price does to everything attached to it. A seller that moves its headline may not have moved its [dose ladder](https://thisglp.com/research/who-publishes-a-glp1-dose-ladder) or its billing interval, so a re-read should cover the terms as well as the number — the questions we keep in [what they leave open](https://thisglp.com/tools/questions-they-leave-open). And where a figure has changed twice, the useful conclusion is about the seller rather than the price: see [what sellers will not tell you](https://thisglp.com/research/what-glp1-sellers-do-not-publish) for the disclosures that tend to move with it.

Every figure above is computed from this site’s own re-reading record at the moment the page was built. The most recent reading in the corpus is October 2026.

[Hims](https://thisglp.com/reviews/hims) provides a specific reason to revisit the surrounding text: its [weight-loss offer](https://www.hims.com/) requires membership in addition to the listed medication price. The [age of a recorded price](https://thisglp.com/research/how-old-is-the-price-you-are-reading) is another reason to confirm the offer before ordering. A second reading should capture both charges and their renewal conditions, even if the prominent drug figure appears unchanged.

## Frequently asked

Do GLP-1 prices really change that often?

Among the rows this desk went back and re-read, most had changed, and most of those had fallen. That describes the rows re-read rather than the whole market, because sellers are re-read when something prompts it.

Which direction do they move?

Downward more often than upward in this set, with a median move that is a real cut rather than a rounding adjustment. Individual sellers moved both ways.

So what should I do?

Confirm the figure on the seller's own page on the day you order rather than from any list, and check the billing terms at the same time — a changed price does not mean the terms changed with it.
