# CeliaRx review

The per-month figure is arithmetic on a four-month vial. The charge is the whole vial, once.

## The verdict

CeliaRx shows $125 a month for compounded semaglutide. The actual charge is $499 for one vial lasting about four months. Tirzepatide shows $225 a month against a single $899 charge. No recurring billing was observed.

CeliaRx sells both molecules, injected and oral. The injections are vials covering roughly four months. The orals are one-time bottle purchases. Four lines carry a figure.

1. ## Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

A prescription precedes dispensing. The pages do not name the clinician. The intake is not documented. What they do document is the purchasing unit, which most sellers leave vague.

No subscription was observed in the cart or at checkout. Each purchase stands alone. That is unusual here and it cuts both ways: nothing renews without a decision, and nothing spreads the cost either.

2. ## What happens when the dose goes up?

CeliaRx states the price scales with the dose. It does not publish the steps. A four-month vial bought at one dose does not adjust if a prescriber raises it partway through.

3. ## What the price includes

The displayed monthly figure is a division. A buyer pays $499 at once for semaglutide, or $899 for tirzepatide. Both are struck against no other figure. The orals are per-bottle purchases at $199 and $299. Read the unit before the number: a four-month vial and a monthly subscription are different commitments at the same arithmetic.

4. ## What it claims, and what it cites

Every line is compounded. None is FDA-approved. No agency reviews them before dispensing. A single vial covering four months raises storage and stability questions the pages do not address.

## Where it holds up, and where it does not

- Strength: The supply length is stated beside the price
- Strength: No subscription renews without a decision
- Strength: One-time purchase terms are disclosed
- Limitation: The monthly figure is never billed
- Limitation: A single charge is four figures on one line
- Limitation: Dose steps are not published
- Limitation: No state coverage list is recorded

## What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about CeliaRx. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for

A reader who prefers a one-time purchase to a subscription and can fund it at once.

Wrong for

A reader budgeting monthly, since no line is billed that way.

## The evidence behind what CeliaRx prescribes

These studies examine the medicines, not this provider. Results with approved products do not establish the quality or effectiveness of a seller’s compounded formulation.

A 2025 Cochrane review pooled eighteen randomized trials. The weight figure is high certainty and smaller than the marketing, and almost everything else is graded lower.

- [Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide: Which Works Better for Weight Loss?](https://thisglp.com/research/tirzepatide-vs-semaglutide-which-works-better)

In a 72-week randomized trial at weight-management doses, weight fell 20.2 percent on tirzepatide and 13.7 percent on semaglutide. Routine-care studies found a smaller gap, three to four points.

## How CeliaRx compares

| Seller | Who it suits | Go |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Harper Meds | A reader who wants a clinician, a prescription and the medication under one charge, with no term to commit to before reaching the published rate. | |
| Pallas Health | A reader past the opening quarter who wants check-ins priced in, not billed per visit. | |
| Enhance MD | A reader who wants the labs and the consultation inside one figure, and who can hold the four-week cycle in mind when comparing it with a monthly rate elsewhere. | |

## Frequently asked

Will I be charged $125 a month?

No. The charge is $499 for a vial lasting about four months. The monthly figure is arithmetic on that.

Does anything auto-renew?

No recurring subscription was observed in the cart or at checkout. Each purchase stands alone.

What happens if my dose goes up?

CeliaRx states the price scales with the dose but publishes no steps. A vial already bought does not adjust.

Is CeliaRx expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth sellers?

CeliaRx publishes a starting figure of $199/mo. Across the 402 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $525.42 with a median of $190, which puts CeliaRx above the median. The other 178 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
