# GoodLife Health review

GoodLife puts repeated lab review and cardiometabolic care ahead of a medicine-only offer. The monthly membership and the pharmacy prescription remain separate.

## The verdict

GoodLife may suit someone who wants broader metabolic care rather than a quick prescription. Its included quarterly labs and described monthly check-ins are meaningful features, but establish how that plan fits an existing primary-care relationship and the actual medication budget.

Included

GoodLife Health offers a cardiometabolic direct-primary-care membership with clinical support and included laboratory panels. Its weight-loss pathway uses branded GLP-1 medicines when clinically appropriate, with medication paid separately to the pharmacy.

1. ## Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

The terms name Beluga Health, P.A., an independent medical corporation working under GoodLife’s protocols. A clinical relationship begins only when an authorized clinician accepts the patient. The platform and its technology do not themselves practice medicine.

GoodLife describes monthly check-ins and comprehensive lab panels every 90 days. The membership covers clinician review of those results and ongoing support. Ask which tests are included and how urgent symptoms are handled between scheduled contacts.

2. ## What happens when the dose goes up?

GoodLife frames dose changes as part of clinical monitoring. A check-in and lab schedule do not mean every patient should increase doses monthly. Agree on the plan for [side effects](https://thisglp.com/research/how-long-does-nausea-last-on-a-glp1), a plateau or switching medicines with the treating clinician.

3. ## What the price includes

The membership is $299 a month with an initial two-month commitment. The pricing page says $598 is held at checkout and charged when a clinician accepts the patient. Branded medication is additional; included labs do not turn the membership into an all-in drug price.

4. ## What it claims, and what it cites

The site lists [Wegovy](https://thisglp.com/research/semaglutide-cochrane-review), [Zepbound](https://thisglp.com/research/tirzepatide-vs-semaglutide-which-works-better), Mounjaro and Ozempic and says it uses branded, FDA-approved medicines rather than compounded GLP-1s. The prescribed product and its approved indication still matter. Membership is not a guarantee of a particular prescription.

## Where it holds up, and where it does not

- Strength: Quarterly laboratory panels included
- Strength: Monthly check-ins described
- Strength: Independent medical group identified
- Limitation: Medication costs are separate
- Limitation: Initial two-month commitment
- Limitation: Broader membership may exceed what a prescription-only buyer needs

## What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about GoodLife Health. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for

Someone who values continuing cardiometabolic care, lab interpretation and coordination around a branded prescription.

Wrong for

Someone seeking the lowest medication-only bill or a one-month trial without an initial commitment.

## The evidence behind what GoodLife Health prescribes

These studies examine the medicines, not this provider. Results with approved products do not establish the quality or effectiveness of a seller’s compounded formulation.

- [Cochrane Review of Semaglutide for Obesity: 18 Trials Graded](https://thisglp.com/research/semaglutide-cochrane-review)

A 2025 Cochrane review pooled eighteen randomized trials. The weight figure is high certainty and smaller than the marketing, and almost everything else is graded lower.

- [Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide: Which Works Better for Weight Loss?](https://thisglp.com/research/tirzepatide-vs-semaglutide-which-works-better)

In a 72-week randomized trial at weight-management doses, weight fell 20.2 percent on tirzepatide and 13.7 percent on semaglutide. Routine-care studies found a smaller gap, three to four points.
