A clinic network in two states, with a flat price at every dose and a 28-day billing cycle.

## The verdict

Two rates apply after the first charge: $299 for compounded semaglutide and $399 for compounded tirzepatide. The billing cycle is 28 days. At thirteen cycles a year, the calendar-month cost is about $324 and $432. Only patients in California and Arizona are eligible.

iThriveMD runs longevity, hormone and weight-loss services. Its FAQ names eight clinic sites. Seven are in California and one is in Scottsdale.

1. ## Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

The process has four steps. A patient completes an online intake first. A clinical consultation follows, which includes a review of diagnostic labs. The clinic then builds a plan and starts treatment in clinic or at home. No individual prescriber is named on either product page.

Treatment can be delivered in person or by telehealth. Home delivery is offered where eligible. The clinic states that it tracks progress and adjusts the plan. The first consultation is described as free.

2. ## What happens when the dose goes up?

The price does not change with the dose. Both product pages state this in the FAQ. The dosing schedule is twice a week, not once. The clinic says this keeps medication levels steadier. Dose adjustments are described as managed by its medical team.

3. ## What the price includes

Each Monthly card leads with a reduced first charge: $199 for semaglutide, $299 for tirzepatide. A footnote says the $100 reduction is used once. From the second cycle, the rates are $299 and $399. Prepaid packages run 12, 24 or 48 weeks and cost less per cycle. They are paid upfront and renew on their own. Semaglutide packages cut the rate by 10 to 20 percent. Tirzepatide packages cut it by 25 to 50 percent.

4. ## What it claims, and what it cites

Both drugs are compounded preparations. A site footnote says compounded drugs have no FDA review or approval for safety or effectiveness. The site says a LegitScript-certified facility dispenses them. That facility is unnamed.

## Where it holds up, and where it does not

- Strength: Dose increases do not raise the price
- Strength: Standing rate printed beside the reduction
- Strength: Clinic visits available beside home delivery
- Strength: Lab review is part of the consultation
- Limitation: Billing runs every 28 days
- Limitation: Only California and Arizona are served
- Limitation: No prescriber is named
- Limitation: Packages auto-renew at their own interval

## What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about iThriveMD. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for

A Californian or Arizonan who may want to walk into a clinic.

Wrong for

A patient outside those two states.

## The evidence behind what iThriveMD prescribes

These studies examine the medicines, not this provider. Results with approved products do not establish the quality or effectiveness of a seller’s compounded formulation.

- [Cochrane Review of Semaglutide for Obesity: 18 Trials Graded](https://thisglp.com/research/semaglutide-cochrane-review)

A 2025 Cochrane review pooled eighteen randomized trials. The weight figure is high certainty and smaller than the marketing, and almost everything else is graded lower.

- [Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide: Which Works Better for Weight Loss?](https://thisglp.com/research/tirzepatide-vs-semaglutide-which-works-better)

In a 72-week randomized trial at weight-management doses, weight fell 20.2 percent on tirzepatide and 13.7 percent on semaglutide. Routine-care studies found a smaller gap, three to four points.

## Frequently asked

What does the first charge cost?

$199 for semaglutide and $299 for tirzepatide. Each carries $100 off, once. After that the rates are $299 and $399.

Does the price rise with the dose?

No. Both product pages say the price holds at any dose.

How often is the medication injected?

Twice a week. The clinic uses a split schedule instead of one weekly dose.

Where is care available?

California and Arizona, at eight clinic locations or by telehealth.

Is iThriveMD legit?

iThriveMD is a GLP-1 telehealth sellers service. Its stated availability: California and Arizona. What our record does not establish: whether it bills insurance and how its intake works. Ask for those in writing before you pay.

Is iThriveMD expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth sellers?

iThriveMD publishes a starting figure of $324/mo. Across the 402 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $525.42 with a median of $190, which puts iThriveMD above the median. The other 178 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
