# MEDGm review

All three figures are memberships. The medication cost is written as a word, not a number.

## The verdict

MEDGm publishes $171, $99 and $99 across three lines. Each is labeled 'Membership + Cost'. The cost half is not published anywhere. Coverage is stated across 51 jurisdictions.

MEDGm sells semaglutide and tirzepatide, injected and oral. Three lines carry a figure. Every one of them prices the membership and leaves the medication open.

1. ## Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

The membership is the route to a prescriber. A prescription follows. MEDGm notes that Ozempic is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes and prescribed off-label for weight here. Few sellers state the off-label position that plainly.

The pricing formula is printed on the page: membership plus cost. Naming the structure is a disclosure. Leaving the second term blank is the opposite. A buyer knows exactly what they will owe and exactly what they will not.

2. ## What happens when the dose goes up?

Nothing is published about what either half does at a higher dose. The membership is presumably fixed. The medication cost is unknown at any dose, so the question cannot be answered even in principle.

3. ## What the price includes

No line here can be totaled. $99 is what the membership costs, not what treatment costs. MEDGm also states availability is subject to change on two lines. A figure that is explicitly one term of a sum is not a price, and it is not ranked here as one.

4. ## What it claims, and what it cites

The lines reference approved products prescribed off-label rather than compounded preparations. Off-label prescribing is lawful and common. MEDGm states it directly, which is worth more than most disclosure on this subject.

## Where it holds up, and where it does not

- Strength: The off-label position is stated outright
- Strength: The pricing formula is printed, not implied
- Strength: Coverage stated across 51 jurisdictions
- Limitation: No medication cost appears anywhere
- Limitation: No line can be totaled
- Limitation: Availability is flagged as changeable
- Limitation: Dose behavior is unknowable here

## What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about MEDGm. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for

A reader who values a plain statement of the off-label position and will price the drug elsewhere.

Wrong for

A reader who needs to know what treatment costs before joining.

## The evidence behind what MEDGm prescribes

These studies examine the medicines, not this provider. Results with approved products do not establish the quality or effectiveness of a seller’s compounded formulation.

- [Cochrane Review of Semaglutide for Obesity: 18 Trials Graded](https://thisglp.com/research/semaglutide-cochrane-review)

A 2025 Cochrane review pooled eighteen randomized trials. The weight figure is high certainty and smaller than the marketing, and almost everything else is graded lower.

- [Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide: Which Works Better for Weight Loss?](https://thisglp.com/research/tirzepatide-vs-semaglutide-which-works-better)

In a 72-week randomized trial at weight-management doses, weight fell 20.2 percent on tirzepatide and 13.7 percent on semaglutide. Routine-care studies found a smaller gap, three to four points.

## How MEDGm compares

| Seller | Who it suits | Go |
| --- | --- | --- |
| NextMeds | A reader who wants one charge covering medication and care, at a rate stated to hold from the first order. | |
| Collective | A reader who will stay on treatment for a full twelve months, which is the term the annual membership is priced against. | |
| Alloy | A reader comparing three molecules at one seller, where the same fixed fee sits on top of each of them. | |

## Frequently asked

What does $99 buy?

The membership. MEDGm writes the formula as 'Membership + Cost' and does not publish the second term.

Is the drug approved?

MEDGm states Ozempic is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes and prescribed off-label here for weight. That is a plainer statement than most sellers make.

Can six months be estimated?

No. Half the sum is missing at every dose, so no total is available at any commitment length.
