# Science & Co review

Science & Co describes ongoing provider contact and dose adjustments, but its current headline prices require a twelve-month plan.

## The verdict

Science & Co publishes a more specific care pathway than a price card alone: provider assessment, secure messaging and continued dose review. Its headline rates are attached to twelve-month plans. The outcome illustrations are not a reliable way to predict an individual patient’s results, and an ongoing month-to-month quote needs confirmation.

Science & Co is an online platform offering compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections alongside other treatment categories. It now also lists branded weight-loss products, whose availability and terms should be confirmed separately. The company states that it is not itself a compounding facility. Prescribing and medication preparation belong to independent licensed providers and pharmacies.

1. ## Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

A provider licensed in the patient’s state reviews the health questionnaire before deciding whether to prescribe. The FAQ says the same provider remains involved month to month. Its public care model includes health history, current medications, treatment response and labs when needed. These are service commitments; ask who your assigned clinician is and how to arrange a direct consultation.

Science & Co advertises continuing messaging and regular check-ins. Its FAQ gives all fifty states and DC as its service area and describes a cash-pay service without insurance claims. Refills ship after clinical approval and pharmacy preparation. The shipping policy promises reshipment where a transit delay risks a temperature-sensitive product, so contact the care team promptly about a delivery problem.

2. ## What happens when the dose goes up?

The medication pages say the price does not increase with prescribed dose. They describe monitoring tolerability and adjusting the schedule when [side effects](https://thisglp.com/research/how-long-does-nausea-last-on-a-glp1) occur. A provider should decide whether to increase, hold or otherwise change treatment; the seller’s general discussion of nausea should not be read as advice to continue through every symptom. Confirm the check-in schedule and contact route before the first fill.

3. ## What the price includes

The current compounded semaglutide headline is $59 per month on a twelve-month plan; tirzepatide is $99 on the same stated term. Those are commitment-based rates, not a verified month-to-month bill. Request the total charge, payment schedule and renewal amount in writing. The FAQ states no membership fee, but stopping future orders does not necessarily recover an earlier payment.

4. ## What it claims, and what it cites

A licensed U.S. pharmacy prepares the compounded medication. Science & Co claims third-party testing and says patients can request a certificate of analysis. Ask for the dispensing pharmacy and documentation for the specific lot. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved; testing claims and the website’s illustrative outcome panels do not establish equivalent results to a branded medicine.

## Where it holds up, and where it does not

- Strength: Provider continuity described in the FAQ
- Strength: Messaging and dose review included
- Strength: Temperature-sensitive shipment problems addressed
- Strength: No membership fee stated
- Limitation: Headline rate requires a twelve-month plan
- Limitation: Standing monthly price needs a separate quote
- Limitation: Assigned pharmacy is not identified on the price card
- Limitation: Illustrative outcome panels do not predict results

## What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about Science & Co. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for

A patient who wants remote follow-up and can clarify the clinician, pharmacy and billing schedule before enrolling.

Wrong for

Someone seeking an independently established patient success rate or a fully specified month-to-month offer.

## The evidence behind what Science & Co prescribes

These studies examine the medicines, not this provider. Results with approved products do not establish the quality or effectiveness of a seller’s compounded formulation.

- [Cochrane Review of Semaglutide for Obesity: 18 Trials Graded](https://thisglp.com/research/semaglutide-cochrane-review)

A 2025 Cochrane review pooled eighteen randomized trials. The weight figure is high certainty and smaller than the marketing, and almost everything else is graded lower.

- [Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide: Which Works Better for Weight Loss?](https://thisglp.com/research/tirzepatide-vs-semaglutide-which-works-better)

In a 72-week randomized trial at weight-management doses, weight fell 20.2 percent on tirzepatide and 13.7 percent on semaglutide. Routine-care studies found a smaller gap, three to four points.

## Frequently asked

Is the headline rate available without a long plan?

The current product FAQs tie $59 semaglutide and $99 tirzepatide to twelve months. Obtain a separate quote for a shorter arrangement.

Can Science & Co treatment be paused?

The FAQ allows a pause or cancellation through the account or support at least 72 hours before processing. It stops future orders, rather than reversing medication already prescribed, dispensed or shipped.

Does the same provider stay involved?

The FAQ says the same state-licensed provider follows the patient month to month and adjusts treatment based on response.

What do the outcome graphics establish?

They are labeled illustrative. They do not provide the methods or patient-level evidence needed to estimate your individual result.
