Signos is a glucose-monitoring company whose app reads data from a wearable sensor. Signos+ adds a compounded GLP-1 prescription to that sensor and app. The 12-week plan includes two 15-day Stelo sensors, and the 24-week plan includes four. Medication for either plan ships once a month.

1. ## Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

Signos does not prescribe; clinicians from OpenLoop Health and other independent networks do. Those clinicians review the intake and choose both the drug and the dose. Residents of seven states and the District of Columbia, including Arkansas and West Virginia, must complete a video visit. The support page adds that updated lab work may be required before prescribing.

Registered dietitians employed by Signos provide nutrition support inside the app. Clinical check-ins come from the prescribing network rather than from Signos staff. A refill may need a short clinician check-in before it ships. Signos states that a refill missed because a check-in was incomplete is not refunded.

2. ## What happens when the dose goes up?

The prescribing clinician sets the starting dose during the medical intake. Signos publishes no dose schedule and does not say whether the price changes as the dose rises. The sensor's labeling says its readings are not a basis for medication changes without a clinician.

3. ## What the price includes

The landing page prints $199 a month beside the words three- or six-month program. No month-to-month option appears anywhere in the Signos+ offer. All plans auto-renew, and canceling stops the next renewal without ending the current term. A full refund is issued if the member is found ineligible for the program.

4. ## What it claims, and what it cites

All Signos+ medications are compounded, according to the seller's own program page. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them before dispensing. The dispensing pharmacy is not named. Signos+ is not offered in Louisiana because of state rules on compounded medication.

## Where it holds up, and where it does not

- Strength: Glucose sensor included in the monthly figure
- Strength: Prescribing network is named
- Strength: Full refund if found ineligible
- Limitation: Three- or six-month term required
- Limitation: Price by term is not published
- Limitation: Refills missed over a check-in not refunded
- Limitation: Not available in Louisiana

## What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about Signos. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for

A reader who wants glucose data alongside a GLP-1 and can commit to three months.

Wrong for

A reader who wants to buy one month at a time.

## The evidence behind what Signos prescribes

These studies examine the medicines, not this provider. Results with approved products do not establish the quality or effectiveness of a seller’s compounded formulation.

A 2025 Cochrane review pooled eighteen randomized trials. The weight figure is high certainty and smaller than the marketing, and almost everything else is graded lower.

In a 72-week randomized trial at weight-management doses, weight fell 20.2 percent on tirzepatide and 13.7 percent on semaglutide. Routine-care studies found a smaller gap, three to four points.

## Frequently asked

Is $199 a month-to-month price?

No. It is a monthly rate on a three- or six-month term, and the page does not say which of the two terms it applies to.

Who prescribes?

Clinicians from OpenLoop Health and other independent networks write the prescriptions. Signos itself does not practice medicine or employ prescribers.

Which states are covered?

Signos+ covers 49 states and the District of Columbia. Louisiana is excluded, and seven states plus the District of Columbia require a video visit during the intake.

Is Signos legit?

Signos is a GLP-1 telehealth sellers service. Its stated availability: US except LA. What our record does not establish: whether it bills insurance and how its intake works. Ask for those in writing before you pay.

Is Signos expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth sellers?

Signos publishes a starting figure of $199/mo. Across the 402 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $525.42 with a median of $190, which puts Signos above the median. The other 178 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
