# Vitara RX review

Three figures for one semaglutide program on one site, and nothing that says which of them a buyer will be charged.

## The verdict

VitaraRx makes a clear promise about dose, that the price does not change as the milligrams climb, and an unclear one about the price itself. Its cards say semaglutide from $99 a month and tirzepatide from $149, the banner above them says plans start at $179.99, and the intake form lists semaglutide at $212 at every dose. The order form is what a buyer is actually charged, so $212 is the semaglutide figure ranked here.

VitaraRx is a cash-pay telehealth storefront for compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, and it describes itself as a marketplace connecting patients with independently licensed providers rather than as a clinic or a pharmacy. It does not dispense medication, does not accept insurance, and bills for the medication when a shipment goes out.

1. ## Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

The FAQ names the provider network as MD Integrations and says a US-based doctor reviews the questionnaire and replies within about 24 hours. In some states the doctor asks for a video consultation or a live chat before prescribing, and the intake form asks for a photo ID and a picture of the patient. No individual clinician is named anywhere on the site.

A patient picks a therapy, answers the medical questions and waits for the doctor's reply, and if a prescription is written the order goes to the dispensing pharmacy and ships with instructions. Refills are handled through the account, where a patient can reorder or cancel at any time, and the FAQ says the patient is contacted before each refill is billed. Once medication arrives the FAQ treats every sale as final, so canceling stops the next shipment but does not return the one already on the shelf.

2. ## What happens when the dose goes up?

This is where VitaraRx is most specific. Each card prints the dose range it covers, 0.25 mg to 2.5 mg for semaglutide and 2.5 mg to 15 mg for tirzepatide, above the words "All doses. Same Price.", and a section headed "Your Dose, One Price" says the monthly rate follows the medication prescribed rather than the dose. A patient stepping up the ladder every few weeks should see the same charge at each step, whichever figure that charge turns out to be.

3. ## What the price includes

The cards and the banner sit a few inches apart and do not agree, with "From $99 / Month" for semaglutide and "From $149 / Month" for tirzepatide printed under a heading of "Doctor-Led Weight Loss Plans Starting at $179.99/Month". The intake form adds a third number, offering compounded semaglutide at $212 from the starting dose up to 2.4 mg weekly, and it prints no tirzepatide price at all. The word "From" on the cards and the FAQ's note that billing follows the chosen treatment plan both point to a plan ladder. No plan lengths or terms are shown, though, so the cards cannot be read as a month-to-month charge. The intake form is the one place a buyer is quoted for an order, which is why its $212 is the semaglutide figure ranked here. Tirzepatide is not ranked at all: the form's medication question offers only semaglutide, so the card's $149 has no order behind it.

4. ## What it claims, and what it cites

Both molecules are compounded, and the site says so beside the banner: compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA has not verified their safety or effectiveness. The FAQ names the dispensing pharmacy as Manifest Pharmacy in Greer, South Carolina, and the footer says compounded prescriptions are prepared by licensed pharmacies under Section 503A.

## Where it holds up, and where it does not

- Strength: Same price at every dose, stated in writing
- Strength: Dose ranges printed on each card
- Strength: Dispensing pharmacy and provider network named
- Strength: Patient contacted before each refill is billed
- Limitation: Cards, banner and intake quote different prices
- Limitation: No plan lengths or terms are shown
- Limitation: No tirzepatide price in the intake form
- Limitation: All sales final once medication arrives

## What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about Vitara RX. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for

A patient expecting several dose increases who wants the charge fixed across the whole ladder, and who will confirm the plan price with the seller first.

Wrong for

Anyone who needs one settled monthly figure before starting, since the site's own pages give three of them.

## The evidence behind what Vitara RX prescribes

These studies examine the medicines, not this provider. Results with approved products do not establish the quality or effectiveness of a seller’s compounded formulation.

A 2025 Cochrane review pooled eighteen randomized trials. The weight figure is high certainty and smaller than the marketing, and almost everything else is graded lower.

- [Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide: Which Works Better for Weight Loss?](https://thisglp.com/research/tirzepatide-vs-semaglutide-which-works-better)

In a 72-week randomized trial at weight-management doses, weight fell 20.2 percent on tirzepatide and 13.7 percent on semaglutide. Routine-care studies found a smaller gap, three to four points.

## Frequently asked

What does semaglutide cost at VitaraRx?

The card says from $99 a month and the banner says plans start at $179.99 a month, but the intake form lists $212 at every dose, and that order-form figure is the one ranked here. The site does not explain which plan the other two belong to.

Will a higher dose cost more?

No, both cards say every dose costs the same, and the pricing section says the monthly rate depends on the medication rather than the milligrams.

Which pharmacy fills the prescription?

The FAQ names Manifest Pharmacy in Greer, South Carolina, and names MD Integrations as the network of prescribing providers.

Is Vitara RX legit?

Vitara RX is a GLP-1 telehealth sellers service. Its stated availability: US except AK. What our record does not establish: whether it bills insurance and how its intake works. Ask for those in writing before you pay.

Is Vitara RX expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth sellers?

Vitara RX publishes a starting figure of $212/mo. Across the 402 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $525.42 with a median of $190, which puts Vitara RX above the median. The other 178 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
