Methodology
We rank the companies selling GLP-1. Those rankings are worth something only if you can see how they are produced, so here is the whole thing: the scoring weights, the rules we hold ourselves to, and the one place commercial relationships are allowed to show up.
How a score is calculated
Every provider score is a weighted average of 4 marks. There is no field anywhere in this site’s data where a score can be typed in by hand — a rank is an output of the table below, and nothing else.
Price transparency
30%Can you find what a month costs — for the molecule and the form you want — before creating an account, and does the seller's own site agree with itself?
Honest headline
30%Is the figure the seller leads with the figure it bills? A price that needs a twelve-month prepay, or that is struck through from an anchor nobody pays, is a different number from a standing monthly rate.
Dose-ladder pricing
25%Does the price hold as your dose escalates, or is it re-set at every step? This is the difference most buyers only discover in month three.
Access
15%How many states the seller ships to, and whether it covers more than one molecule or delivery form.
The scoring function does not read commercial status. It is not weighted low; it is not an input at all. Partners are shown first on category pages and labeled “Partner” — that is display order, and it never touches the number.
5 of the 25 sellers we rank pay us a commission. The seller our rubric places first, Apex MD, is not one of them — we earn nothing when you click through to it. That is the check we would want to make of a site like this one, so we publish it rather than describe it. Partner status changes where a row sits on a board, and never the number beside it.
- 01
Primary sources, never summaries
Every factual claim is tied to the trial publication, the FDA / DailyMed label, or the peer-reviewed paper of record. We do not cite press releases, secondary blogs, or AI-generated summaries as evidence.
- 02
Citations are live-verified
Before publication, each reference is checked against the source of record — PubMed, DailyMed, ClinicalTrials.gov — to confirm the authors, year, journal, and the specific figure being cited. Citations are never reconstructed from memory.
- 03
Magnitude over vibes
We report effect sizes, hazard ratios, confidence intervals, and durations — not adjectives. Where evidence is preclinical or thin, we say so plainly rather than implying more than the data supports.
- 04
Independence, disclosed
This GLP earns revenue through clearly labeled partnerships with vetted telehealth and pharmacy providers. Those relationships are disclosed and never determine a ranking, a verdict, or a safety statement.
- 05
Research, not medical advice
Our work is educational. It is not a substitute for an individualized consultation with a licensed clinician, and we say so on every page that discusses a medication or intervention.
Frequently asked
- What sources does This GLP cite?

- Do commercial partnerships affect your verdicts?
- No. This GLP earns revenue through clearly labeled partnerships, but those relationships never determine a ranking, a verdict, or a safety statement. Placement can be commercial; the substance of the evidence review is not.
- Is anything on This GLP medical advice?
- No. Our work is educational research, not a substitute for individualized care from a licensed clinician. We say so on every page that discusses a medication or intervention.
