Allara is a telehealth practice for hormonal, metabolic and gynecological conditions. PCOS and insulin resistance are its core. Weight care is one service among many. GLP-1s are prescribed inside that care.
Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?
Each patient keeps one medical provider and one Registered Dietitian. The same pair handles every visit. The site lists OB-GYNs, endocrinologists and women's health nurse practitioners. Visits are scheduled video calls. The individual clinician is not named before signup.
Insurance comes first. Allara is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and GEHA in some states. Without coverage, the cash subscription applies. Labs are ordered to build the plan. Medication is optional and decided with the patient.
