FitRx is a telehealth service with a weight-loss line among several others. It works insurance first for brand Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro. Members without coverage are offered compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. Government insurance is not accepted.
Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?
The FAQ says providers are licensed physicians and nurse practitioners. It calls them board-certified. No clinician is named on the public pages. The FAQ describes monthly video or phone visits and unlimited messaging.
First, the member completes an intake. Next, a provider reviews it within one to two business days. If approved, a partner pharmacy ships the medication. For brand drugs, a coordinator files prior authorizations, up to three attempts. Memberships bill monthly. They cannot be paused. Shipments can be delayed in the portal.
What happens when the dose goes up?
The bundle price covers the standard titration schedule. The FAQ states that a dose above that schedule may carry additional fees. The amount is not published. No milligram dose is printed beside either bundle.
