Raeliva review

Raeliva prices each product at one monthly rate, whatever the dose.

The verdict

Raeliva charges $219 a month for compounded semaglutide injection on the monthly plan, and $299 for tirzepatide. Each product page states the price does not rise when the dose does.

A telehealth storefront selling compounded semaglutide by injection or dissolving tablet, and compounded tirzepatide by injection. Pacific Shores Research Group, LLC, a San Diego company, runs the website and the intake form.

  1. Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?

Clinicians practice through Lion MDs, an independent medical practice with licenses in all 50 states. CareValidate Incorporated runs the consultation, the medical record and billing. The storefront states it employs no clinicians and writes no prescriptions, and the treating practice is confirmed during intake.

A provider decides eligibility after the intake, and nothing is charged if the provider declines. Medication ships refrigerated, usually overnight, and check-ins, dosing guidance and refill timing run through the clinical team. Plans are subscriptions that can be canceled at any time.

  2. What happens when the dose goes up?

"Same price at every dose" is printed on each product page. The starting dose is described as low and adjusted gradually, but no milligram schedule is published. So the price claim covers escalation, while the escalation itself is not described.

  3. What the price includes

Semaglutide injection is $219 month to month. Three months cost $500 billed at once, and six months $900, which the page shows as $167 and $150 a month. The dissolving tablet is $260 monthly, or $550 per quarter. Tirzepatide is $299 monthly, $800 per quarter, and $242 a month on six months.

  4. What it claims, and what it cites

Both molecules are compounded, and the legal page names six fulfilling pharmacies, among them Belmar Pharmacy and Strive Pharmacy. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved, and the product pages say so. Trial figures on those pages come from the approved drugs, a limit the pages state themselves.

Where it holds up, and where it does not

  • Strength: One price at every dose, stated per product
  • Strength: The fulfilling pharmacies are named
  • Strength: The prescribing practice is named
  • Strength: No charge if the provider declines
  • Limitation: The lowest rates need an upfront term charge
  • Limitation: No milligram schedule is published
  • Limitation: Billing runs through a separate company
  • Limitation: Three companies divide one patient's care

What the evidence says about this kind of treatment

The assessment above is about Raeliva. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.

Right for
A buyer who wants a flat monthly rate and a named prescribing practice.
Wrong for
A buyer who wants the storefront itself to be the clinical provider.

Is Raeliva legit?
Raeliva is a GLP-1 telehealth sellers service. Its stated availability: All 50 states. What our record does not establish: whether it bills insurance and how its intake works. Ask for those in writing before you pay.
Is Raeliva expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth sellers?
Raeliva publishes a starting figure of $219/mo. Across the 399 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $525.42 with a median of $189, which puts Raeliva above the median. The other 58 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
