Roen Rx review
Insurance coordination for brand drugs, and a compounded bundle for everyone else.
The verdict
RoenRx runs two routes. Insured patients get help pursuing brand coverage. Uninsured patients buy a compounded bundle. The Semaglutide Bundle is $217 for the first month, then $297. The Tirzepatide Bundle is $349, then $449. Those bundle rates are the all-in figures.

RoenRx is a telehealth practice with several service lines. Primary care, mental health, hair loss, skin care and sexual health share the site. The weight-loss program has two routes. One coordinates insurance for brand GLP-1 drugs. The other sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide.
Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?
A licensed RoenRx provider reviews the sign-up form. The FAQ gives one to two business days for that review. The provider may send follow-up questions first. No provider is named. No medical group is named on the pages a buyer sees first.
Membership is the base of the program. It covers medical care, one-on-one coaching and insurance coordination. It is billed monthly on the sign-up date. Cancellation is allowed at any time. Quarterly, semi-annual and annual memberships are offered at a discount. The program does not accept Medicare or Medicaid plans.
What happens when the dose goes up?
The bundle rule has one exception. Standard titration is inside the bundle price. A dose above standard titration schedules may add fees. The provider reviews any such change with the patient first. The amount of the extra fee is not published.
What the price includes
Four figures appear on the site. Two are all-in. The $25 figure applies to brand drugs through insurance. The $106 figure is medication-only and needs a three-month supply. The $216 figure is tirzepatide's medication-only starting price. Membership is billed on top of both. The bundles combine medication and care: $297 a month for semaglutide and $449 for tirzepatide after the first month.
What it claims, and what it cites
A pharmacy compounds the semaglutide and tirzepatide. Neither is manufactured. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The pages describe semaglutide as the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy. The compounding pharmacy is not named. A patient found ineligible for compounded medication is refunded under a 30-day guarantee.
Where it holds up, and where it does not
- Strength: An all-in bundle is published for each drug
- Strength: Insurance coordination is offered for brand drugs
- Strength: A refund if a patient is found ineligible
- Strength: Membership can be canceled at any time
- Limitation: The low headline figures exclude membership
- Limitation: A dose beyond standard titration may cost extra
- Limitation: Medicare and Medicaid plans are not accepted
- Limitation: No provider or pharmacy is named
What the evidence says about this kind of treatment
The assessment above is about Roen Rx. These are about the drugs it sells, and they are traced to the primary literature.
- Right for
- An insured buyer who wants help pursuing brand coverage, with a compounded fallback.
- Wrong for
- A buyer comparing headline figures without adding the membership.

- What is the $25 figure?
- A copay for brand drugs such as Wegovy when insurance covers them, after coordination. It does not apply to compounded medication.
- What does compounded semaglutide cost all-in?
- The Semaglutide Bundle is $217 for the first month, then $297 a month. It includes care, a provider review, the prescription and the medication.
- Does a higher dose cost more?
- Standard titration is inside the bundle. A dose beyond standard titration schedules may add fees. The amount is not published.
- Is Roen Rx expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth sellers?
- Roen Rx publishes a starting figure of $449/mo. Across the 368 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $449 with a median of $189, which puts Roen Rx above the median. The other 20 GLP-1 telehealth sellers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
