Who writes the prescription, and what do they see?
LillyDirect does not prescribe. A patient's own clinician sends the prescription to LillyDirect Pharmacy in Indianapolis. For patients without a doctor, the page links to independent telehealth services and to Healthgrades for in-person care. Those clinicians are not Lilly's, and none is named here.
Once the prescription arrives, a pharmacy partner contacts the patient. It confirms details, checks for savings, and offers delivery or retail pickup. Insured patients get help with coverage checks and prior authorization. Beyond that, the channel supplies the drug and savings support; ongoing clinical care stays with the prescriber.
What happens when the dose goes up?
Price follows the dose, and every strength is printed. Self-pay is $149 a month at 0.8 mg and at 2.5 mg, $199 at 5.5 mg, and $299 at 9 mg. The 2.5 mg and 5.5 mg prices are temporary reductions through December 31, 2026; the regular prices are $199 and $299. At 14.5 mg and 17.2 mg the regular price is $349, or $299 when each refill is bought within 45 days of the last delivery. A month is defined as 30 days.
What the price includes
Three prices apply, depending on how the patient pays. Self-pay runs from $149 to $349 for a 30-day supply by strength. Commercially insured patients whose plan covers Foundayo may pay as little as $25 with the savings card; government beneficiaries are excluded. Eligible Medicare Part D patients are pointed to a $50-a-month bridge program. The savings figures carry monthly caps, and Lilly may change or end them at any time.
